Photographer/writer Douglas Keister has authored thirty-six critically acclaimed books. His books on classic recreational vehicles include Ready to Roll, Silver Palaces, and Mobile Mansions. In addition, he has authored twenty-five books on architecture, including Inside the Bungalow, Storybook Style, Red Tile Style, Classic Cottages, and Cottages. Keister also writes and illustrates magazine articles and contributes photographs and essays to dozens of magazines, newspapers, books, calendars, posters, and greeting cards worldwide. He lives in Chico, California.

I HAVE SEVERAL BOOKS ON THE SUBJECT OF TRAVEL/CAMPING TRAILERS AND THIS IS THE BEST.GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY,INTERESTING AND INFORMATIVE TEXT,AND PERSONAL ANECDOTES MAKE THIS A DELIGHTFUL BOOK TO READ.THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY FAN OF TRAILERS AND TRAILER TRAVEL.

5 Stars Cool little trailers!
Bought this book a few months ago and have looked through it at least a dozen times. It’s on my nightstand and every time I open it there seems to be some little detail I missed the times before. It’s totally amazing what people with some wood and a little imagination can come up with! A great book to get if you’re looking for ideas for your little trailer, as I was. A fabulous gift for your “tinkerer.”

There has been a good amount of effort to photograph the various teardrops and smaller trailers. In most photos there is also an older vehicle, which, while interesting to car colectors, does reduce the amount of written text on the main subject.

This book is a very good item for those interested in the teardrop and smaller trailers and is a wonderful addition to a collectors library.
